Every piece of cane, the basis of every bassoon reed, is individual. Each stalk of cane grows differently and has its own structure. Our aim is to consider these minute differences, and through this philosophy we can produce reeds of excellent quality.
In contrast to the usual method of machine finished reeds, we proudly complete every step of our reeds by hand. This allows us to work with each individual piece of cane and to optimise its vibrational properties.
